Tennis has been a sport in Spain for a long time. It is popular mainly because many Champions of Tennis came from Spain. Rafael Nadal is one of the greatest Spanish players of all time. Furthermore, Spain has also produced several other great players like Arantxa Sánchez Vicario. Spain holds Tennis tournaments every year in Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia.
Formula 1 has been a professional sport in Spain since 1908. The fsrst Grand Pix was in 1913. There have been Numerous Grand Pix races taking place there. Lewis Hamilton is the record holder for the best lap with 1:26.727. Spain holds the Grand Pix every year in Curcuit de Cantaluna in Barcelona, Spain. There are 66 laps and that is 307 kilometers long. In 2008, K Raikkonen had the fastest lap in Catalunya with 1:21.670. Sebastian Vettel won the formula 1 race in 2011.
